In Miami, it’s only a matter of time before you run into a celebrity—the Magic City is irresistible to the stars. But there are certain places where celebrity sightings are more common than others. If you visit one of these hot spots, odds are you’ll leave starstruck.

Dirty French Steakhouse

New York’s Major Food Group has quickly taken over South Florida’s dining scene with restaurants that should be familiar to most foodies (the biggest one likely being Carbone). While most of their concepts can be difficult to get into, Brickell’s Dirty French Steakhouse might be your best bet to snag a table and see some celebs. The lavish steakhouse tends to fly under the radar, although its food is just as impressive as its siblings. The place is humongous, and on any given night, it’s slammed with a guest list that’s a who’s who of local and national VIPs. Grab a table; order the mushroom mille feuille, cajun snapper, and ribeye; and soak in the sights.

Dirty French Steakhouse is located at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.

Gekko

Few things drive Miamians wild like Bad Bunny. The internationally acclaimed recording artist sells out shows regularly here and everywhere else in the country. So needless to say, his Miami restaurant Gekkois always busy—and celebrities make up a big part of the crowd. The Japanese-inspired eatery is home to tasty options like wagyu crispy rice, lobster dumplings, black cod, dover sole meuniere, and ora king salmon nigiri. The menu isn’t exactly breaking the mold, but the food here is (surprisingly) great. Just be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

Gekko is located at 8 SE 8thStreet, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.

Joe’s Stone Crab

Locals aren’t the only ones filling this beloved seafood restaurant day in and day out. Anybody who’s anybody knows that Joe’s Stone Crab is one spot that everybody needs to try—it’s been around for over 100 years. And over those 100 years, countless celebrities have dined there including The Rolling Stones, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone … the list goes on. The big draw here for diners is the namesake stone crabs, but there’s not a bad dish on the menu. Our recommendations: the fried shrimp, the lobster roll, the jumbo lump crab cakes, and the fried chicken.

Joe’s Stone Crab is located at 11 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Kiki on the River

You’re guaranteed to see at least one star during any visit to Kiki on the River—this Greek restaurant on the Miami River attracts famous people galore. Heck, it was even namedropped on a Drake song. What is it about this place that makes people go gaga? For one, the view—it will make your jaw drop on a clear day or night. Secondly, the food. This is a pricey restaurant that’s actually worth the premium. Highlights include the tuna sashimi, the salmon saganaki, and the “Whole Lotta Shells” platter featuring crab-stuffed lobster.

Kiki on the River is located at 450 NW North River Drive, Miami, FL 33128. For more information, visit their official website.

RED South Beach

Over on the other side of the causeway, RED South Beach is serving up some of the best steaks in the neighborhood. The renowned steakhouse has seen its fair share of VIP guests including Mike Tyson, Billy Joel, rapper Flo Rida and more. The star of the menu here is obviously steak—and there’s no shortage of it—but while you’re here, we suggest looking into other dishes as well like the pastas and raw bar selections. Items like the Bolognese and the wild king salmon deserve just as much love as the dry-aged Certified Angus Beef prime Kansas City bone-in strip (say that three times fast). And that mac and cheese is heaven on earth.

Toscana Divino

Toscana Divino may not be the new kid on the block these days, but the Mary Brickell Village institution has withstood the test of time thanks to its exquisite Italian cuisine. And that Italian cuisine is exactly why stars pop in regularly—well, the Italian cuisine and the Italian wine. In addition to serving up bites like beef tartare, buffalo ricotta and spinach tortelli, and veal costoletta, the restaurant boasts an impressively long list of wines by the bottle. You could come in every day for a year to try a different bottle, and you still wouldn’t make a dent in the list. So yeah, make sure you Uber here.
