Thursday, April 3: Happy Hour at UDON

UDON Wynwood is bringing the heat with a delish (and wallet-friendly) happy hour. From 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, you can feast on izakaya favorites like crispy pork dumplings, prawn tempura, and pillowy pork buns, all under $9. Sushi lovers, get into UDON’s signature Sushi Noodle Rolls—think the Buddha Roll (salmon, avo, cream cheese, teriyaki), Tiger Roll (panko prawn, avo, Nikkei sauce), and the indulgent Royal Roll (tuna, salmon, avo, cheese, honey mayo, and a sriracha kick). Oof. 

Of course, no Happy Hour is complete without drinks, and UDON delivers. Sip on a Sake Mojito, Yuzu Sake Margarita, or Lychee Moscow Mule—each a steal at $12 or less. Prefer wine, sake, or beer? They’ve got you covered.

Friday, April 4: Dinner at Loretta and the Butcher

We love our Friday nights at Loretta and the Butcher. This place is an absolute vibe—packed on any given day of the week. Step into the charming little bistro, and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight to Buenos Aires. 

The star of the show here is, of course, the meat. And we do urge you not to come just slightly peckish but with a raging appetite as the portions are anything but petite. The 14 oz skirt steak parrilla steals the spotlight at Loretta and the Butcher—cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, and tender. Yet, the menu is extensive and will surely have your eyes running wild. The mollejas grilladas (grilled sweetbreads with chimichurri) accompany any proper feast, and to dilute the meat and carbs, get an order of the burrata and prosciutto accompanied by sweet cherry tomatoes. There’s a beautiful selection of wines from Argentina available by the bottle or glass, so make sure to ask for the best pairing.

Saturday, April 5: Prix Fixe Dinner at Graziano’s

Prix fixe dinners in the 305 can be hit or miss, but Graziano’s? They’ve mastered the art. Their multi-tiered prix fixe experience (ranging from $59 to $169 per person) is nothing short of top-shelf, with flavors so divine you might start writing sonnets between bites.

Even the $59 Tortuguitas course is a knockout, serving up four indulgent courses. Kick things off with grilled Argentine-style sausage, homemade empanadas (baked or fried), and a crisp organic house salad. For the main event, savor a flawlessly grilled vacio de novillo Angus, cooked to Argentine perfection. Pair it with steak fries or crispy tostones, then cap it all off with rich flambeed dulce de leche crepes. Drinks aren’t included, but you can sip the night away with hourly beverage packages—starting at $25 for beer and wine or $35 for liquor and cocktails. Trust us, this is one prix fixe worth the splurge.

Sunday, April 6: Brunch at El Turco

When we’re in the mood for a Feast (with a capital F)—we gather the gang and head straight to El Turco in Upper Buena Vista. The Turkish restaurant serves up a plethora of mouthwatering dishes that beg to be shared. And trust us—you’ll want to order nearly everything off the menu. 

The restaurant opens at 10 a.m. so diners can make early brunch appearances or take it easy and come in for a later seating. The Turkish breakfast tray comes loaded with organic eggs cooked to your liking, fresh veggies, premium cheeses, next-level olives, as well as freshly baked bread,  jams, and tea. For something sweet to go with the spread, we love getting the bal kaymak—a Turkish delicacy featuring creamy top of the milk served with honey and crushed walnuts. Divine.
