Alloy Bistro - Best Miami restaurants to celebrate a birthday

For a more intimate birthday dinner, consider booking a table at Alloy Bistro. The hidden Downtown Miami gem is off the beaten path, so you and your loved ones can enjoy a quiet evening out. On the menu: Mediterranean delights galore. The European-inspired menu will have you licking your lips in anticipation. Think beef tartare, branzino carpaccio, smoked tagliatelle and black truffle risotto. An extensive wine list featuring French, Spanish, and Italian rarities rounds out this mouth-watering experience.

Casa Isola

If you haven’t been to Casa Isola yet, a birthday is the perfect occasion. The Italian eatery from celebrated chef Jose Mendin (Pubbelly) and Chef Santo Agnello is an absolute delight. Start the birthday celebration with appetizers like tuna crudo, burrata Panzanella, and arancini, and then stuff your face with pasta, pasta, and more pasta.

The rigatoni alla vodka is a must and is big enough to share (although you probably won’t want to). The linguine with white water clams is another standout, and if you want to go all out, order the massive veal chop parm. You can’t go wrong with anything here – it’s all amazing.

Casa Isola is located at 1418 20th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Expect the brand’s beloved classics like 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA and Hazy-O!, along with rotating specials. There’s also a full kitchen that’s cooking up bar bites like rock shrimp ceviche, seared tuna tacos, and sweet potato cheesecakes.

Edge Steak & Bar

Non-steak fans need not worry, as Edge offers way more than that. Yellowtail snapper, roasted oysters, chorizo and cheddar croquettes, and seabass are a few other selections that are sure to wow your party. Plenty of cocktails, wines, and beers are up for grabs, and there’s a big emphasis on whiskey here. And we mean big.

Is sushi more your style? South of Fifth’s Kosushi has got you covered with one of the biggest menus in town. Hamachi, crab, octopus, salmon belly, unagi… The list goes on and on and on. In addition to sushi, sashimi, and the like, the restaurant also features an array of hot and cold specialties such as black salt scallops, crispy rice tuna, baked cauliflower, and miso seabass skewers. This place is ideal for larger parties, as you’ll be able to try a little bit of everything.

The sizeable menu offers a delightful taste of the Mediterranean with highlights like prime filet mignon, dover sole meuniere, tuna tartare, apple crab Louie and seared octopus.

Cocktails are plentiful, with flavors across the spectrum. For something sweet, try the Blu-Elyx Mule with vodka, blueberry puree, and fresh lime. For something with a kick, the Finally Old Fashioned with Bulleit rye and cherry smoke tastes as great as it looks. Cheers!
