Don’t let the budget-friendly prices or minimalist digs fool you; Midorie Miami (owned by the same team behind Wabi Sabi) serves up some of the tastiest sushi around. Come to Omakai when you want to thoroughly indulge without breaking the bank. They have several options to choose from (including a vegan one), but two of them are simple and fulfilling enough: Oma Bite, which comes with an appetizer, a sashimi special, three pieces of nigiri, and a hand roll for only $20; Oma, which offers the same but with six pieces of nigiri and two hand rolls ($32). For those who want the full shebang and are open to surprises, order the Omakai Experience, for which the chef chooses 15 pieces for you.

This high-end omakase concept is a Michelin-starred L.A./Austin import that’s wildly creative and fun. The space is small, offering only a 10-seat counter with three seatings per night, and it’s usually booked, so make sure to grab a reservation well in advance if you plan on checking it out. The price per person is $185; however, you do get a complimentary welcome cocktail and a 17-course dinner that sends you into a dervish whirl of happiness. It’s worth it.

Entering Varsol may be an unassuming experience, but dining on their patio feels like meditating in a zen garden while munching on glorious things.
