La Giulietta is a quaint bakery and restaurant located in Ironside — a sustainable village in Miami’s Little River neighborhood. If you haven’t yet stopped by Ironside, it’s surely worth the visit. Petite shops and restaurants are surrounded by charming buildings and gardens, where La Guilietta gets their Italian aromatic herbs. This is a place with character and ethics, as not only do their herbs come from the garden, other produce is locally sourced. Not to mention all the breakfast pastries and bread are wood-fired using Floridian oaks.

While the menu is not extensive, it does change by the month following the local harvests. Taste the freshness of the produce with one of the restaurant’s salads and prepare yourself for the house-made pasta to come. Spaghettoni Alla Puttanesca, for example, showcases al dente pasta, heirloom tomatoes, capers, olives, and fresh-grown oregano. There’s a short and sweet list of meats and fish for mains, which come elevated by herbaceous sauces and veggies.

If you haven’t fallen in love with La Giulietta already — there’s more. It’s BYOB with no corkage fee! Oh, and the local shops in Ironside will have you all set with the beverages. It’s truly the ideal place to find yourself with a small group of friends. Breezy outdoor seating, enchanting scenery, and the nearby river… Come to Ironside for a morning croissant and coffee or an intimate evening outing. Just make sure to stop by La Giulietta.
