Ding Ding Noodles - Jia, Miami Beach
Jia is an upscale Chinese restaurant/lounge/dinner club located in the soul of Miami Beach’s South of Fifth area. Award-winning chef Weng Choon Lai masterfully executes traditional Cantonese delicacies while adding a contemporary twist. The menu is nothing short of exhilarating. Miami foodies with an adventurous palate can try Short Rib Dumplings (literally bursting with flavor) or Tang Dynasty Mini Fish Buns made with black cod and pickled vegetables. We urge you not to miss out on the exquisite Black Truffle Sticky Rice — a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The menu also boasts heartier options like Peking Duck, Roasted Mongolian Cumin Lamb Rack, and Whole Crispy Hunan Snapper — an explosion of aromas and textures not to be missed.

Elevated Chinese dining has long been absent from Miami’s restaurant scene, and restaurateur Ken Ray is now giving us a taste of what we’ve been missing. This newly opened Miami hotspot provides trendy Miamians with a Chinese culinary experience the city has not yet seen, fused with a dim, eclectic atmosphere and party vibes. Here, internationally-acclaimed bartender Michael Parish serves up exciting sips, like the Pandan Colada made with Chinese Baijiu spirit, against a backdrop of murals by Miami Ink tattoo artists, Ami James and Morgan Pennypacker showcasing traditional Asian tattoos. There is also a 25-person private lounge in the back where patrons can book private dinners, entertainment, and karaoke. Reservations at Jia are highly recommended.
