Cafe Americano

American | Brickell
Cafe Americano, the city-favorite retro diner with a Latin twist, has unveiled its newest concept in Brickell. Palm greens meet soft caramel browns at this tropical eatery, giving a nod to hard-to-forget American diner classics like a jukebox, leather booths, and bar seats. Overall the vibe screams ideal South Florida diner if there ever was one. Grab a seat at the copper-clad bar and allow the mixologist to serve you up craft cocktails spiked with global liquors and, of course, some creamy milkshakes.

The menu, a collaboration between V&E Restaurant Group and Culinary Edge, is a balance of quintessential comfort foods with dashes of world flair. For an all-day breakfast, diners can indulge in tres leches French toast (that’s rum dulce de leche) or spicy chicken & waffles (hot honey maple drizzle, y’all). Later on in the day, snapper and shrimp ceviche sliders may tickle your fancy more. Or perhaps a Cubano club served with yucca fries and chimichurri crema. For substantial eats, there’s the molten chicken parmigiana, served tableside with a healthy serving of molten mozz.

All in all, Cafe Americano is the ideal spot to go for those very foods we all know and love, without losing an edge. Work meetings? Perfect. Intimate dates? Totally. Weekend brunches with the fam? You don’t have to think twice.
