Wednesday at Casa Isola

Casa Isola Osteria
Casa Isola is an ambient and slightly romantic osteria located on the sunset harbor in Miami Beach. Started by five-time nominated James Beard Award nominee Jose Mendin and former Lucali chef Santo Agnello, the osteria keeps up the Italian trope to a fine-point-finish.

After the reopening and revamping of the menu at Casa Isola, we’ve been steadily going there for the past few months. As always, chef Jose Mendin did not disappoint with his new offerings. With a divine melange of ingenuity and comfort foods, you can easily come here every week without getting bored.

Start off with the Mediterranean mezze for perfect bites of hummus, babaganoush, labneh, and roasted red peppers. Move on to the octopus a la planxa—melt-in-your-mouth, tender octopus served with roasted pepper gremolata. Finally, on to the pasta: the vongole Isola is always on point. That’s linguini and little neck clams perfectly balanced with baby heirloom tomatoes and aromatics. Casa Isola is casual and inviting and the dishes are perfect for sharing. So by all means, grab your besties and order away to your heart’s desire.

Thursday at RED South Beach

Steakhouse Month is a month-long celebration of good steak so there’s no doubt you’ll find us in RED South Beach. Awarded the best steakhouse in the country, RED knows its steaks.

For the ultimate experience go straight for the meat board. That’s tomahawk, bone-in filet, bone-in strip, and lamb chops served with a flight of the restaurant’s signature seven house-made sauces. This meat board can easily feed a few people so come with good company or come real hungry. When at RED, something absolutely not to be skipped is the signature side dishes. The four-cheese macaroni and cheese and the perfectly charred Brussels sprouts with pancetta have us drooling at the thought. Catch you there!

Friday at Paperfish Sushi

Paperfish Sushi on Espanola Way is our new fav date night spot so you’re sure to find us there this Friday. Despite its hot location, the restaurant stays true to its roots with authentic Nikkei cuisine, fresh ingredients, and the friendliest, most attentive service. We need to look no further for a great night out.

Date night calls for something extra special—Omakase Paperfish. For $120 you’ll get the signature omakase to share. Get ready for the freshest nikkei ceviche, tiradito apasionado, chef-choice nigari, and sashimi, as well as signature maki. Can’t beat that with a baseball bat. All that’s left is the perfect sake pairing, and Paperfish boasts a healthy collection of sips.

Sunday at R House Wynwood

We’ll be taking advantage of the last weekend of the month to celebrate Pride Month in style. With a drag brunch at the hottest spot in town, R House Wynwood. Brunch here gets booked out quickly, so we’ll be making our reservations early, cause this is a show not to be missed.

Accompanied by performances featuring the city’s most dazzling drag queens, the R House brunch is simply unforgettable. And delish to boot. A family-style set menu is served to all guests featuring picante dishes like chimichurri cheeseburger sliders and cayenne fried chicken with a spicy cilantro sauce; and sweet options like the cinnamon French toast with guava syrup. Yum. Naturally, the package includes bottomless drinks like mimosas, sangria, and mojitos. Drink up and enjoy the show.

R House is located at 2727 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website
