Wednesday, February 28: Mozzarella Heaven at Ironside Pizza

If you’ve had a meal at Ironside Pizza before, then you surely know how much care the restaurant puts into every single ingredient they serve. For the Upper East Side pizzeria, Italian food means healthy and wholesome, and that journey starts with choosing only the purest ingredients, local and, in some cases, imported from the motherland. One of those ingredients that Ironside takes pride in is their fresh mozzarella, which might be some of the best mozz we’ve ever had. Luckily, the mozzarella options on the menu are anything but scarce, whether it’s caprese panini brimming with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella ovaline, and basil or the eggplant parmigiana, made with but, of course, nothing but the best mozzarella in town. Rest assured, there’s also a wide array of wood-fired pizzas like the Regina pizza bianca, made with mozzarella fior di latte, prosciutto di parma, cherry tomatoes, and baby arugula, allowing for the fresh cheese to truly shine.

Thursday, February 29: Treat Yourself at RED South Beach

Hey, February 29 only comes around once every four years, right? That means it’s time to treat yourself! What’s the first place that comes to mind? We know just the spot—RED South Beach, one of America’s best steakhouses. No smoke and mirrors here, but trust us when we say you’ll be treated like royalty. Chef Peter Vauthy puts in the utmost care to prepare cuts of steak like you won’t believe. If you’ve already checked out our latest interview with Chef Vauthy, then you probably already know the secret—a proper ribeye is his favorite cut. And the c.a.b. prime ribeye at RED is stupendously luscious. To balance out such a rich steak, make sure to order some of the steakhouse’s famed sides, like the green beans with pancetta and pine nuts or the fried asparagus. Oh, and a glass of vino, of course.

Friday, March 1: Sunset Sessions at Barsecco

Come one, come all to Barsecco this Friday evening, where the music is popping, and the drinks keep pouring. The Sunset Sessions Happy Hour, happening every Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., is your time to chill and unwind with some good grooves and a drink in hand. Everything on the menu is priced at either $7 or $8, and believe us when we say it’s a lot more than your regular happy hour deal of fries and beer. Eclectic tapas, mouth-watering pizzas, martinis, bubbles, craft cocktails, beers, and wine are all on the happy hour menu, and we’re coming nice and early to enjoy the hangout to the fullest. We’ll be kicking off the evening with golden fried calamari and serrano croquettes paired with a spicy cucumber cilantro margarita, setting the tone for a superb evening ahead.

Saturday, March 2: Pickleball and Craft Cocktails at Sip and Pickle

Are you down for some pickleball action? Well, even if you’re not, you’re in for a treat. Sip and Pickle, Miami’s first pickleball social club, is where it’s at, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just dipping your toes into the game. This spot is all about those chill weekend vibes or unwinding after a long day’s grind. Setting up base at the Wynwood Marketplace, this open-air paradise boasts five top-notch pickleball courts surrounded by vibrant art, live beats, intriguing performances, gourmet eats, and handcrafted cocktails. Picture yourself kicking back with a luscious libation in hand, soaking in the intense matches, or diving headfirst into the action yourself. See you on the court!
