Ironside Pizza - Best Pizza Restaurants in Miami
Ironside Pizza

If you’re catching a show at the Miami Beach Bandshell, make sure to stop at one of these Miami restaurants on the way for a delicious pre-event bite.

Fiorito

When you’re in the mood for a steak before the show, swing by Fiorito on the way to the venue. The homey eatery is heaven on earth for meat lovers; the restaurant specializes in Argentine and Spanish cuisine. Some highlights: the crispy sweetbreads, the braised short ribs, the prime flank steak, and the steak salad. It’s easy to overorder here, so stick to an entrée or just a few appetizers—not both, unless you want to fall asleep at the Bandshell. Don’t worry about missing out on all the great food—you will definitely be back.

Fiorito is located at 555 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website

Ironside Pizza

The name says it all: Ironside Pizza is the place for pizza in Ironside. The restaurant features red, white, and gourmet pizzas that are all ideal for sharing and won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Our favorite thing about the neighborhood restaurant is its variety. Those of us who prefer a classic pie will love the likes of margherita and mushroom pizzas, while those of us who want something a little out of the box can nosh on speck gorgonzola, calabrese, and pineapple (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it). Pastas, sandwiches, and salads are also available if you want something lighter before the concert.

La Sandwicherie

If you’ve already spent all your money on concert tickets, stick to grabbing a sandwich at La Sandwicherie. The tried-and-true Miami institution is known for its hearty and budget-friendly handhelds that can be loaded with proteins like roast beef, ham, turkey, prosciutto, French salami, and much more. There are also signature sandwiches available if you can’t be bothered to build your own. If you fall under that latter category, opt for the Frenchie on a croissant—the French salami and brie is a mind-blowing combo. The beloved sandwich shop is open late so you can even swing by after the show.

La Sandwicherie is located at 7349 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website

The Strand at the Carillon Miami

Trying to eat healthy? The Strand has you covered with tasty Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Located at the Carillon Miami—a property devoted to wellness—the Strand shares the resort’s DNA. On the wellness-focused menu, you’ll find items like ahi tuna crudo, strawberry burratina, wild king salmon and Colorado lamb chops. The best part about this place is its location, as its just a few blocks away from North Beach Bandshell; you can walk over in less than 10 minutes. And if you’re short on time, take a peek at The Strand’s fun bar bite menu—we’re partial to the melted brie crostini.

The Strand is located at 6801 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website

Taquiza

Tacos are known for being cheap and fast, and Taquiza doesn’t disappoint. The North Beach location of this taco concept offers all the hits and then some: Al pastor, carnitas, barbacoa, cochinita, and mahi are just a few of the proteins you can order. The restaurant also has vegetarian options like huitlacoche (Mexican corn truffle) and rajas (charred peppers, onion, cotija cheese, crema, and oregano). Although tacos make up most of the menu, there are a few non-taco selections like the restaurant’s signature blue corn masa chips (totopos), quesadillas, and churros. Don’t leave without trying the hibiscus aqua fresca—it’s super refreshing.

Taquiza is located at 7450 Ocean Terrace, North Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website
