When it comes to Cinco de Mayo, Miami knows how to throw a party. If you’re looking for events or restaurants to celebrate the drinking holiday, we’ve got you covered.

Barsecco

Nestled in the heart of Brickell, Barsecco brings a touch of sophistication to the Cinco de Mayo scene. Enjoy their tantalizing margaritas—the spicy cucumber margarita will awaken your taste buds—and pair them with gourmet tacos. The eatery and lounge is home to some delicious wagyu Asian street tacos, birria taquitos, and baja chicken tacos

Bakan

Located in Wynwood, Bakan transports guests to Mexico with its earthy, artsy, and modern space, a wide variety of authentic regional dishes, expansive mezcal and tequila offerings, and handcrafted tortilla selection. For Cinco de Mayo, a mariachi band will perform from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and guests can enjoy the restaurant’s usual menu of delicious tacos, moles, quesadillas, and other signature plates. Of course, you’ll also find plenty of margaritas and micheladas.

Bakan is located at 2801 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo at the best party of the year all weekend long with Bodega Taqueria y Tequila. Start the festivities early and enjoy $5 draft margaritas on Sunday, May 5th, from noon to 2 p.m. at all South Florida Bodega locations. Presented by Tres Generaciones tequila and El Tequileño, beverage specials will also be offered on frozen margaritas all weekend long. The event features DJ sets by local DJs, entertainment, giveaways, decor, and more!

CJ’s Crab Shack

There’s nothing like people-watching during a drinking holiday, and CJ’s Crab Shack offers the perfect vantage point. While you take in the Ocean Drive sights, you can down one—or five—of their signature margaritas, along with an assortment of other stiff drinks. Food-wise, you won’t find any tacos or Mexican fare, but you will find some of the best seafood on this side of town.

Finka Table & Tap

This year, Chef Eileen Andrade’s Finka Table & Tap sets the stage for an exceptional Cinco de Mayo celebration, seamlessly blending a diverse culinary experience of Cuban, Peruvian, and Korean cuisines with an inviting atmosphere.

The restaurant will offer $10 specialty cocktails with tequila, including I like you elote, made with elote-infused Amara’s Mezcal, home-made chipotle shrub, fresh lemon juice, and agave Syrup, and besos de mezcal, with Bruxo Mezcal, fresh lime juice, lucuma reduction, coconut cream, and Xocolatl mole bitters. Guests can also celebrate with $8 chilled tequila shots.
