The Best Miami Beach Restaurants for Late-Night Food

When hunger strikes late at night, what should you do? You could always raid the fridge, but if you’re already out and about, that’s not really an option. Fortunately, these four Miami Beach restaurants are stay open to satisfy any late-night food cravings. Just remember: We’re in the middle of a pandemic, so times are subject to change.

Big Pink

Big Pink is a Miami Beach institution. The retro Miami diner has been serving guests since 1996 and features one of the largest menus on this side of the causeway—more than 200 items are available. Open late on the weekends, Big Pink has it all: Expect everything from quesadillas, cheese sticks, and sliders to tuna melts, spaghetti and meatballs, and BBQ chicken pizza. It’s quite the mix, making it the perfect place for post-club eats.

Big Pink is located at 157 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

If it’s late and you’re hungry, head on over to Bodega Taqueria y Tequila for some tasty tacos to tide you over. This SoBe hotspot is open well into the morning, and it boasts a flavorful menu of Mexican fare.

As we mentioned earlier, tacos are one of the main draws, and there is no shortage of proteins to nosh on. Carnitas, steak chimichurri, and tequila shrimp are just a few of the many options available around the clock. Burritos, quesadillas, and bowls are also around to help you end your night on a high note. Did we mention there’s a full bar, too?

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is located at 1220 16th Street, Miami Beach, FL33139. For more information, visit their official website

CJ’s Crab Shack

While you’re bar hopping along Ocean Drive, grab a seat at CJ’s Crab Shack for some late-night food. A prime spot for people watching, CJ’s Crab Shack is jammed packed with hefty crab dishes and more to help keep your night going strong.

Open until midnight daily, guests can enjoy everything from hearty appetizers like crab dip and fried popcorn shrimp to impressive entrees like snow crab, fish and chips, and seafood pasta. There are also non-seafood dishes available, including rib eye, buffalo wings, and chicken fingers. Make sure to grab a specialty drink while there; cocktails like the summertime sangria and hurricane Molly pack a punch and are a steal at $12 each.

La Sandwicherie

Good and cheap—that’s exactly the kind of food you want after a night out on South Beach. La Sandwicherie delivers on both fronts: Their hearty sandwiches have fed many a clubgoer since the ‘80s. Delicious drunk or sober, La Sandwicherie’s offerings can be built to your specifications or you can opt for one of their signature creations like the Frenchie, an appetizing combo of French salami and brie cheese. Load it up with all the free veggies, order it on a croissant, and ask for it toasted—it’s the best.

La Sandwicherie is located at 229 14th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Sweet Liberty

When people think of Sweet Liberty, it’s usually because of their drinks. The late-night hotspot has won a ton of “Best Of” awards for its great libations and hospitality. What doesn’t get enough attention is the food. When you need a nightcap and have the munchies, it doesn’t get better than Sweet Liberty’s elevated bar fare. Two things you need to try: The double-patty Buns of Liberty Burger (which can be made vegan) and the famous cauliflower nachos—both are great for sharing.

Sweet Liberty is located at 237 20th Street, Suite B, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
