5 Stroller-Friendly Restaurants in Miami
Ironside Pizza

Strollers are a convenient way to transport kids, but they can be a bit cumbersome when going out for dinner. At these restaurants, though, you won’t have to worry about finding room for your kid’s stroller—there’s plenty of space to move around and keep it stored safely.

CJ’s Crab Shack

One of the first things you’ll notice about CJ’s Crab Shack is its size—it’s humongous. Whether you opt to sit inside or outside at the Ocean Drive establishment, there’s a ton of room between tables so bringing a stroller shouldn’t be a problem; you’ll be able to easily navigate the restaurant. Once you’re seated and have stowed your stroller, get ready to dig into delicious dishes like snow crab, Alaskan king crab, steamed clams, Southern fried grouper, and more. A full bar will help you tolerate any rambunctious kids running around.

Ironside Pizza

Don’t worry about finding a place for a stroller at Ironside Pizza. The restaurant’s spacious patio is perfect for an outdoor family outing, and the menu here works for both child and adult palates. Who doesn’t love pizza? Standouts include the 4-formaggi pie, the calabrese with n’duja pizza, and the funghi; they’re all ideal for sharing. Don’t feel like sharing? Check out pastas like spaghetti puttanesca and gnocchi pesto.

Lobster Shack

Like its sister concept CJ’s Crab Shack, The Lobster Shack features a ton of space for parties and strollers of all sizes—it’s in the middle of Lincoln Road after all. You should have no issues hauling a stroller along for your dining experience here. The star of the show is Lobster Shack’s signature lobster roll, which is available in all sorts of flavors and variations, including Cajun, spicy, and just claw meat. Other non-lobster selections include tacos, oysters, snow crab, and salads (get the seared tuna one). For the kids, The Shack offers age-appropriate items like grilled cheese, toasty peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and cheese quesadillas.

Ms. Cheezious

Nothing speaks to your inner child like a grilled cheese sandwich, and Ms. Cheezious in MiMo has over a dozen of them. The indoor portion of the eatery is a little tight for strollers, but there’s plenty of room in the back patio to stretch your legs and park your stroller(s). Some of the items we strongly recommend: the Frito pie melt, the patty melt, the buffalo chicken melt, and the s’mores melt for dessert. You also have the option of building your own sandwich if that’s more your style.

Ms. Cheezious is located at 7418 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33138. For more information, visit their official website.

Rosie’s: The Backyard

Over in Little River, Southern American concept Rosie’s has set up shop in a 100% outdoor space. Every day, you’ll see parents bringing kids in their strollers to enjoy beautiful weather and tasty bites like lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken and waffles, pastrami hash, and fish and grits; you’ll fit right in with everyone else here. Two things you need to be aware of: 1) Make sure you have a reservation and 2) make sure your stroller has some sort of protective covering for your child—despite all the shade, it can get very hot.

Rosie’s is located at 7127 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33150. For more information, visit their official website
